2016 the Belt and the Road water treatment international seminar was solemnly held in the capital of Kenya--Nairobi on August 18th,2016, which was co-hosted by United Nations Environment Programme, International network for waste water treatment,Joint Laboratory of Nairobi Tongji University; and undertook by Nairobi drinking water and sewage treatment company; and cooperated by "Industrial water treatment" magazine.

The theme of the seminar is about water treatment chemicals and technology.
